Please use our Amazon Wishlist whenever possible!
Because we have limited open hours, we provide Amazon drivers with access instructions for our secure package-drop box. Those instructions are included with orders placed through our Wishlist.
Orders placed separately from the Wishlist may not include the information the driver needs to access our donation box.
💙 Using our Wishlist helps ensure your donation can be delivered safely, even when we're closed.
Thank you for supporting our pantry and the families we serve!
Our regular food donations are unopened and nonperishable. At the same time, we are able to distribute fresh and frozen foods that come to us through approved sources.
When available, families can receive fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, butter and frozen proteins. These foods add variety and help make pantry groceries feel more like a real grocery trip.
Have fresh produce or rescued food?
Fresh produce is welcome during pantry hours. For rescued food, email info@newbritainfoodpantry.org or text 215-527-9377 first so we can receive and store it safely.
Schools, businesses, faith communities, neighborhoods and families can all help collect items our neighbors need.
Start a food driveCheck our current needs list so your collection focuses on items we can use right now. Regular food-drive donations should be unopened and nonperishable.
If your group would like to collect fresh or frozen food, please contact us first.
Sorting, stocking, packing, unloading and distribution all happen because people in our community show up.
